Hamilton Beach Portable Ice Maker

I got one last August and it work for the first 6mos good but the last 3 mos. have been a nightmare and I call for the last 3 mos. and they don't offer any help today I was told to take it back to the store I pick it up at as they don't make this product anymore and they might have 1 in their warehouse to exchange it out

Our fridge doesn't have an ice maker and while we're renovating the house I needed one until we get our new ice maker. This makes bullet shaped ice that isn't as hard as your freezers ice. It's more brittle and melts faster. It makes ice quick about 9 cubes every 10-12 minutes. My only complaint is the "gate" or arm gets stuck and I have to power cycle the machine every so often. Other than that I recommend it and have zero complaints.

Bought this Ice Maker for the RV and so far it has been working great. I can pull into spot and start the Ice Maker running while waiting for the freezer to cool down. Plus it makes enough Ice to keep up with the usage for my wife and I. Once the Freezer is cool enough, I dump the ice in a plastic bag and store in freezer. The ice does melt quick it the drink is warm, as they are shaped like thin bullets.

I wish the ice cubes were a little bigger nut they work fine
