HART 20-Volt Cordless Precision Craft Rotary Tool Kit, Gen2

Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience. I am in love with little thing. I have an old rotary tool of another brand and that thing is so uncomfortable to use due it being bulky, loud, vibrates excessively and I need to be close to an outlet or use an extension cord. That is not the case at all with Hart's Precision Rotary tool. This is compact, lightweight and its really comfortable to use. It is extremely quiet even at full speed and it feels like I'm holding a pen in my hand. It has 5 speed settings that you can choose from based on the project and materials you're working on. It comes with a bunch of different accessories to get you started and that's awesome! It's a kit so it comes with a 20v 1.5ah battery and the charger so you have everything you need to get started right in the box. No need to find an outlet anymore. You can take this anywhere and use it with any Hart 20v battery. It has storage right on the box that hooks up to the battery so you can have your accessories conveniently located. Hart nailed it with this new tool and it has become a household favorite since my wife and daughters like doing craft work. Cant wait to see what new products Hart releases because I know they won't disappoint!

I was very impressed by the power this little rotary tool has. It's very user friendly, with great on board storage, an easy way to change bits and user friendly controllers for speed and on/off. It's perfectly balanced with any 20v battery and does not take up much space. It's perfectly portable if need be and stores very nicely. The first task I put this up to was using a sanding attachment to sand down the edges of the board I cut for a project. I got splintering, which not being familiar with woodworking didn't know how to prevent. But this rotary tool was able to sand it all down with no issues. I could have used sandpaper but I also didn't know where I put it lol. The second task it tackled was grinding off the nub from an earring I was trying to convert into a pin. I needed it to have a flat surface so using a cutting wheel, I was able to grind it down flat and put a pin on with super glue! This rotary would be perfect for someone doing arts and crafts. Either for fun or a business! Or someone who wants a smaller, portable and powerful rotary tool!

Will probably use this product to get some of my dental projects done at home! Very cool kit to have at home.

The fact that it is battery powered and unincumbered by a cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet is huge, you can take it anywhere! The onboard bit storage is amazing and allows the accessories to be close by when you need them. As with all Hart tools, the fact that this tool works with all Hart 20V batteries is so convenient. I've played around with this and I'm impressed with the power that this tool packs. We are going to be refinishing the railings on our stairs and this tool is going to come in clutch as we sand around the small routed wood details on the stairs.
