The masks are standard. I don't understand the vent but I didn't see any issue with it.

Many mask for people like me with Asthma feel like they make it hard to breathe. This mask doesn't have that issue. I use it when soldering and plastic work to keep debris for being inhaled.

These respirator masks were great to use while working up in the attic while renovating our newly purchased home. My husband didn't wear anything the first day he was up there and was coughing quite a bit afterwards. The next day he wore one all day and he said he felt so much better and had no coughing afterwards. Will always have a few of these on hand for when needed. Will be using them when I refurbish some furniture in the next couple months.

the big project I was going to do to use this mask never got off the ground. I did wear it around the house to test it for comfort. It is way more comfortable than the medical n95 masks. I felt I could breathe freely. the HART Premium N95 Respirator Mask with Valve made with 2 straps to go around your head instead of just one. I really liked that feature. it stays in place and feels secure. the fact that 3 come to a package is a real advantage for me because many times my husband and i work together. while i wish it could be used for fumes also, this mask will be very useful for us. we are renovating an older home and it will be used for sanding. in my husband's work shop he is working with wood and sawdust and who knows what out there. i really like this HART Premium N95 Respirator Mask with Valve. It will be used quite frequently at our house. there are no cons. our next step will be for my husband to wear while mowing to see if it helps wit his allergies. a good product.
