HART Plier Stapler

This stapler sucks big time. I have another plier stapler from another manufacturer that has worked just fine and has had no problems and I was looking for a second stapler. Little that I know that this lousy piece of junk will not use Universal Staples as the other does and I have wasted my money and time trying to find Staples that would work in it. Stay away from this piece of junk. If a negative rating was possible I would give it a minus 1,000.

Ordered the stapler and I liked it until I went to add staples and they did not fit. Apparently standard staples do not fit this stapler and I went back to the description and no where does it say it requires specialized staples. I looked on Walmart online for the staples to fit this stapler and they do not carry the necessary staples. I bought something that is useless to me at this time. I will be returning the stapler.

I have a bunch of paperwork that is in my file cabinet that I need to sort and separate. I have been using paperclips but I go thru the papers and the paperclips don't hold the papers well enough. With this staple gun I can get the papers to stay together that are supposed to be together and I like the feel of this stapler in my hand. It has me keeping better track of my papers. And I am glad I have this model.

the stapler itself appears in high quality and very durable, however, it uses non standard staples, i believe it is one size smaller than the standard size.

Who ever gave staple sizes a second thought? I have a small desk top stapler & a box of staples that doesn't have a size on it. Just says standard staples, yet they are a little large for the new Hart stapler. I had to go to an office supply to get staples to fit it. I thought that was strange. But it works well now. No jams yet....
