My farrier lent me the tub version of this after a nail incident...I noticed my horse remained a little more sound, but his hoof looked better in quality in general. I kept buying this version after. Turns out, it is helpful in fighting thrush as well. In my horses case, it helped close up those thrush cracks in the frog and harden everything up.My only complaint is that the packaging is kind of hard to open (if you don't have scissors).
I always love to keep these on hand in case of stone bruising or abcessing, seems to draw out 80% in the first 24 hours! The next wrap takes the rest out! Love sole pack!
