The foot spa is not deep enough to allow enough water to even cover your feet. Additionally, a “splash guard” is attached to the spa, but there is an opening in the center of the spa which allows water to flow through. Consequently, the “splash guard” is ineffective is preventing splashes of water from pouring all over your floor.
I love this product it is really nice and comfortable. The only thing is its a little small for someone who has big wide feet like my husband but overall he really enjoys it. Its really good for people who have diabetes. To really care for there feet what the box explains on the box is what it can really do, also if you like the water to get hot make sure you put warm water first and the water will get hotter over time.
Be sure to fill with cool to cold water, as it will burn your feet if you fill with warm to hot. Let the product do the heating of the water itself. Very affordable, and while each dismantling and drying of the foot bath requires effort and a dedicated space, weighing that against living with the pain... Well, that will depend on the user.
I have used this foot spa 3-4 times now. I recommend filling the spa with cool to warm water and then placing it on a towel on the floor. It does splash some water out but nothing major. It takes about 15 minutes to really heat up. I have added epsom salt and a few drops of essential oil. It is so nice and relaxing. I love it!
Got these for my sister and best friend during their pregnancies. They both expressed how much this helped with their feet swelling and how awesome and “spa-worthy” this machine is. I ended up buying one for my mom and she hasn’t used it, so I might just borrow it for my own use! One tip: be sure to use a rag under it so that the water doesn’t spill. Great value and it goes well with pure epsom salt by Dr. Teals!
