Smart Home Security Base Station

We were supplied with this system at our apartment complex. The door sensors work fine, aside from one sensor that works but we could never get to connect despite countless efforts to reset and reconnect. The camera detects motion and records fine, but live video feed only lasts about 30 seconds before it has “connectivity issues” and has to be refreshed twice to watch again for 30 seconds and repeat. We used to be able to hear audio from the live feed and recorded motion, but that feature stopped working and again despite resetting, unplugging and plugging back in, nothing will make the audio come back. Good thing this is discontinued.

Got the Security Base Station kit. Quality looks great really excited until I use the Resideo app. Says it is already connected no matter how many times I reset to factory settings. Will not install. Live chat hangs up when ever I ask the question of what the error means. App and service suck.

I have had the product for a couple of years, it has been stable, alerts me when an event occurs. It does not require a ridiculous monthly subscription to work. My thanks to the product design team for a great product. The built-in wide-angle camera is a great design feature. One time a family member entered my home when I was not there, I got the alert on my phone, looked in the app at the live view and saw it was someone I knew and ultimately not a concern. Pros: Stable, connected phone features, well-designed and thought-through, exactly what I needed for my homes use, no issues connecting sensors, long battery life in sensors Cons: Honeywell/Resideo does not appear interested in evolving/adding features or progressing the product line, no online website to check-status or configure only in smartphone, clunky initial setup where if have issue takes a bit to get reset and back on track.

I am embarrassed for you, Honeywell. As a long-time Honeywell (commercial dealer/installer) customer, I can only say this is pure junk. The setup was wasted hours followed by more frustration after finding out the integration just does not work with alexa and zwave.

Easy to set up - but don't buy if want to use Alexa. Just the Alexa app talking at low levels causes the "base station displaced" alert - even when security system turned off. Have searched help to no avail as cannot find anything on Honeywell home support other than infantile "manuals" and 1 minute videos that show more happy family shots than actual use and troubleshooting of the product.
