It's great for the price I paid. Only had it a few weeks so far but nothing is wrong and performs great. So great, that my partner bought the exact same one.

Decent gaming laptop in my opinion. While playing Multiplayer COD the CPU & GPU usage reached 100% and the game shutdown mid match. I upgraded the RAM and pending upgrade to the storage to a terabyte. I just brought it 2 months ago and it's working fine for my other uses.

I was looking to get a gaming laptop so that I could play more modern PC games, as my trusty 2018 Envy 17 laptop was getting a little long in the tooth and was struggling with thirties from 4 or 5 years ago, since it wasn't ever meant to be a gaming rig. My Omen came a few weeks after I placed the order, and the difference was like night and day. I have small children in the house, so a full desktop setup is not ideal right now (way harder to store from the kids), but i don't feel like I'm losing out any with this laptop. The RTX 4070 card is plenty powerful to run any current title, the RAM is great (mine has 32gb DDR5), the storage is more than adequate (2tb SSD), and the display is crisp and responsive. Even though it technically has an older generation graphics card (now that the 50-series is out), there's enough power behind it that i should be able to get years of use before I need to upgrade the RAM or the SSD. Altogether, a great computer that didn't break the bank.

Runs my games pretty smoothly, though I can't say anything about the most demanding of titles since I don't have any games of that caliber. The mobile RTX 4070 gpu in this should be plenty enough to run most games today. After playing a long session it seems like the laptop was decently warm, but not scalding hot so that's a plus on the cooling system. 240 hz screen is very nice, I thought I wouldn't notice the difference upgrading from 144 hz but it definitely feels a bit more smooth. The battery could use a little work though, barely giving me a few hours if I casually browsed and probably an hour or two at best while gaming. Overall I like this laptop so far and will continue to monitor its performance.

Great laptop. Had for nearly 2 months and smooth performance so far. Great for gaming. I appreciate the built-in temperature and FPS overlay and other performance management features. Only complaints are that the keyboard backlights do weird things when the laptop locks or wakes from sleep, and the trackpad performance is mediocre; occasionally, it does not recognize clicks, and I don't like that it's slightly shifted left of center. I had to modify the right-click area in regedit to keep from accidentally right-clicking all of the time. I would prefer a centered trackpad with two actual buttons.
