Icy Hot Smart Relief Knee and Shoulder TENS Therapy

I received this as a Christmas gift. Best gift ever. I have shoulder, knee and back pain. Mainly shoulder pain which this has relieved immensely. I use it for a couple 30 min sessions and my shoulder is relieved for a couple of days. Have not tried on my knee yet as that is only periodic pain. Have had back pain the past couple of days so tried it on my back even with the shoulder/knee patch. After a couple of 30 min sessions my back pain is almost gone. I have worn it on my shoulder at night as that is when I get the most pain. I can turn it on during the night when the pain flares up and it shuts off automatically after 30 min. This product has given me the most relief for my arthritis that I've had in years. I've happily been able to stop taking pain medication. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with arthritis.

We bought this for my husband's knee pain & it did not prove beneficial for this purpose at all. He felt no relief & only aggravation from the pulsations.

Spent Hours in Pain going through Reviews in Walmart & Amazon for Walmart Products. Chose Icy Hot Smart Relief because I can buy replacement pads & batteries at Walmart. The other 2 Tens Units, sold at Walmart, you have to order online for replacement pads. Out the box, I have a pad, pre installed removable battery (pull plastic tougne) and Small Unit. I clip the unit easily onto the pad, pull plastic tougne out, remove plastic backing from pad, and stick it right on my back, just like Shaq in the icy hot commercial. The first time I clicked it up 10times to small vibration, left pad on, waited 10 minutes as it suggests (so you don't burn out battery) and started it up again while clicking another 20 times to tingles and waited 10 minutes then put it on again up to 50 clicks to a slight pinch tingle. Haven't went to the top, which is 63. The pad worked okay the first time. The second time I shaved hair on spot before applying. Had it stuck on my back all day and it's still there. Does it work? I read many reviews saying the next day you feel the real difference. So far I've owned this product almost 20 hours. Would like to think its tiring out the muscle but honestly Sciatic Pain is from deep nerve. I wish I bought a heated massager from Walmart, which may work better but this Icy hot SmartRelief is moving the muscle and hopefully I feel more relaxed tomorrow. Right now the pain is down unless I move suddenly, then it sky rockets. I bought the replacement pads also. The original unit comes with a preinstalled battery and a spare battery while the replacement pads come with a battery also. Is my pain gone? No. Am I happy with my purchase? Maybe. Am optimistic and hopeful. At least it's doing "something" to the muscles while I'm moving around.

I have one of these for my back/hip area. It worked wonders for me so I bought this one for knees/shoulders. I used if for my knee arthritis. I liked it at first but later felt like it might have irritated the flare. Jury still out.

My daughter called in pain from a sore shoulder. I told her about the Icy Hot. I ordered one for her, she got it in two days and tried it immediately. She loves it. It has AA batteries in it and you attached the pads to both sides of the pain. It sends small electric currents back and forth for determined time. It relaxes the muscles and the pain. Well worth time and amount spent.
