I 'adjust' all prepackaged foods: Idahoan potatoes get 1/2 cup half and half and 1-1/2 cups water instead of 2 cups water, 2 T at least of butter and a pinch of salt. The unadjusted taste is good, but I customize and make it best!

What a great product. I can't make mashed potatoes this good and the price is so reasonable. These are now a weekly addition to our meals. They've even managed to make them so they hold up to gravy. No more sogginess.

These are creamy smooth and buttery! I love how easy it is to make and gives me more time to focus on other aspects of a meal or add a side to meal I don't have long to get cooked and out before leaving. Best of all any potato loving kid can make this easily with a microwave. Meaning my son can easily add a side to whatever entree he makes himself on my late nights.

I like these packs of instant potatoes. I don't have air conditioning in my house so I don't buy the russet potatoes that I like because they spoil so fast in the heat. These potatoes are ready really quick. You just heat 2 cups of water and add the potatoes and stir it with a fork and you're done! These packets will easily serve 2- 3 people. There are several varieties of these but the buttery potatoes sre my favorite!
