Inspire Fitness FT2 Fully Loaded Functional Trainer Smith Machine Home Gym for Total Body Strength Training with Bench

Hi. I'm 63 years old “senior” living in Singapore. I got into resistance training in my early 50's and selected the FT2 about a year before the whole Covid thing which itself was great timing! I was attracted to its compactness, safety, versatility and all-in-one usage. I wanted to use it first for resistance training (and yes I did add muscle mass in my 50s), and then to transition more to functional training as I age (golf and casting for GT fish has never been so effortlessly). It has met all my expectations so far and appears to be holding up well and should easily last me through. When I needed some cable replacement recently (it is hot here and the coating does crack as my machine is outside), the Inspire team in US got them to me without any hassle, and all I paid was the shipping! Am very happy with this machine and doesn't hurt that it looks great!

I have been using my FT2 for the last two years and just saw this opportunity to comment on it in a forum, so I thought I would take it. If you are looking for an "all around" home gym that is smooth in operating and sturdy, then the FT2 might be what you are looking for. Attaching different items for the use is easy and quick. Especially when you are doing drop sets or anything fast to keep the heart rate up. It is made of quality materials and with easy home cleaning, it is still running smoothly. The only thing I wish was a tad different, would be that the bar for squats was able to be adjusted for the movement. It stays on one plane and therefore it keeps you from adjusting your stance completely. But other than that, I think you would find this to be a great piece(s) of equipment for your home with a small foot print.

It's everything all in one and there is no other product on the market that has with this has been one combination and it is absolutely brilliantly engineered.

After lots of research, I purchased this inspire ft2 to get back in shape. It's been one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's a versatile quality piece of equipment. I'm able to easily switch between exercises. The ft2 is such a good unit my entire family (wife, 2 college aged daughters ) exercise daily.We love the Inspire ft2 so much we themed our home gym based on ft2 colors

After seeing this unit in a friend's house, I had to compare it with other makes and models. My wife and I agreed that it was the best quality and nicest looking universal style weight machine we'd ever used or seen. Two years later it still gets used by one of us almost every day! We both love that there are so many exercises that can be done on it and that once used a few times, it's pretty easy to configure it for whichever one you want to do.
