IRIS Small Pet Carrier

I read the reviews before I purchased this and it got good remarks......BUT in my opinion this looks like a toy for a childs stuffed animal, not something you would carry your pet in!! It's very very small and I could not use it. It was returned!

I assumed by "small pet" they mean cats or small dags, When I saw it I found it it's just for hamsters. so Had to return it.

when i saw this item was suitable for a small animal, i figured my 4lb chihuahua would fit. but in all actuality its made for a small rodent......

The carrier was a good quality one and if I had a hamster, I am sure it would have been perfect. The description said it was big enough for an 11 pound cat. It was no where near large enough for that. My kitten is 5 pounds and she was WAY too big for this carrier.

I use this carrier for my parrot. We have a Lake house and he travels back and forth with us each week. I screwed in a perch and we strap him into the car seat and off we go. I just bought my second identical carrier, it was a replacement for the last one which I used for 7 1/2 years before the latches finally broke off. I like the hatch door too, we use this to feed our parrot snacks on the road. You cannot go wrong with this and the price is fantastic for the value.
