iSP170 Portable Speaker System

these speakers are so loud, meets my expectation being that my computer speakers are not very loud...I love them, they are nicely built. Has a nice big dial on the back of the speakers to the touch no need to turn the speakers around to control the volume. It's super good. I give it 5 stars.

I bought these for my college dorm. I wanted something that would be loud enough to hear throughout my room but was still small and didn't take up that much space. The sound is great and the volume can get loud, not anything overbearing though. The speakers are small and square. I love them because you can place them where ever you'd like and they blend with almost any computer/office space decor. The only thing I have a problem with is the fact that you can not use them without plugging them into your computer. The usb is the only way that the speakers can be powered. Other than they they are a good buy for computer music playing.

Just recently bought some speakers from my Wal-Mart Store for $10 and figured I was doing good. But, when I plugged them in they weren't any louder than my laptop speaker. Dissappointed I looked at Wal-Mart online abd found these. When I saw they had there own volume control, were powered by the computer, and after reading the reviews I knew the couple dollar difference was worth a shot. The sound quaility of these tiny speakers is unbelievable. Its not all trebble, not that they bump. But I am more than impressed by them. The only thing I would say so you know to consider for use is that the speaker is not covered. Is is very possible to damage them if dropped or if lttle fingers poke them. Have a good one.

I was immediately impressed with the clarity and volume of these speakers. The quality of the sound depends on the quality of sound being produced by the computer and its applications. I found that there are times when the volume is not high enough, and other times when I have to turn it down. Also, it is only as clear as the transmission. There are two things that I do not like about this product. The first is the wires. It's a pain to move my computer (laptop around with me because of the wires having to be placed and re-placed, organized and placed to keep out of my way, or out of the way of things around me. It's quite a chore and juggling act to move everything at once. The second thing I don't like is the volume control. I would have liked it to be able to get VERY loud at times, but it cannot. For the money, however, I am very happy with the speakers. Someday, I may get something a bit more elaborate.
