Jimmy Dean Sausage Biscuit 1.06 Lb

When did sausage start tasting what road kill must taste like? Sausage used to have some spice to it and have a consistent ground pork texture. These things are awful even with tobasco or mustard. Yuck.

My family has been buying these for years but the new "biscuit" will change that. Nobody in my family of 4 will even consider touching these now that the sausage is basically on a hamburger bun. They are not good. Why change???

Please get rid of the new bun on sausage I want the better biscuit on sausage. Biscuit was crunchy the bun is like eating mushy air filled nothing thanks

I have had these in the past and couldn't get enough of them, so I purchased some the other day and tried it this morning. Followed directions on the box, and prepared two sandwiches. WOW, what a major disappointment it tasted like I had just bite off a chuck of grease. The product had absolutely no favor and the texture was like that of lard. Jimmy Dean needs to remember an old saying "If it's not broken, don't fix it".

I don't usually review stuff, but I wanted to share my entire family's disgust with the change to the biscuit portion of these sandwiches. I was buying 3 36-packs of these every two weeks, because my 15 year old son inhaled 4 to 6 per day, my husband had 2 every morning for breakfast, and my 11 year old daughter and I both would occasionally snack on the them. The last 20-pack I bought has languished in my freezer for more than a month, half full. My husband says the biscuit part is too gummy and he can't swallow them. My 15 year old says it's "grody". My daughter would rather eat a granola bar, and I can't abide the texture, myself. I presume the social media people here have no control over the recipe change, but unless you switch it back, I won't buy more, and I'll advise others to do likewise.
