This is just a matter of personal taste, but to me breakfast sausage needs a little sage or some type of seasoning to bring out the pork flavoring. To me the seasoning was flat and not enough flavor in the links.

The maple comes threw in the cooking and flavor, it screams breakfast. Baked was easy and got that snap. Once frozen, it's always ready with the other frozen biscuits, so convenient.

This was a substitute product from maple to hatch chiles. I truly thought I wouldn't like it but I loved it! Try new things and expand your horizons!!

Always dependably great tasting unless way overcooked, so be careful on that as the Maple will be affected by heat a nit differently than regular sausage. Basically a too brand for quality and the maple gives a distinct taste difference.

The flavor is more authentic than what you get when you buy the tubes of chorizo. Also the texture is more homemade style, can be added to chili-beans, burritos, tacos...just brown it first.
