Artist Susan Fullenbaum If you are a lover of Israeli music, a dancer, or just love watching Israeli dancing, you'll want to own this Hanukkah menorah- The dancers are so joyous that they should be part of the original ''celebration'' series- The dancers were designed with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, a well known Jewish artist, specializing in Hebrew calligraphy and ketubot- Hanukkah is an eight day celebration commemorating the historic victory of the Maccabees over the Syrian king, Antiochus, and his army- Hanukkah also celebrates the miracle of the small vessel of oil that burned for eight days in the Temple- Each section of stained glass has been hand cut, wrapped in metal and soldered to form the shape- The dancing images are sandblasted first and then fire polished in a kiln- Top of the menorah with the candle holders is added last- There are nine candle holders - eight for each night of the festival and one, the shammos, to light the candles each night- Size - 11 1/2 x 5 x 4'' SKU: JKSF-GHM-9774
