We wanted a portable bassinet to use at home and for camping and this is perfect. It's lightweight so I don't even have to fold it down to move it around the house. And it's a good size for baby without being bulky. Only complaint would be that since the mattress part is meant to wrap around the frame when folding down, there's the creases in it which baby then has to lay on. But that's just minor. Great product

I like the fact that this sits right next to my bed and does not take up to much space. When setting up it was basically pretty easy and nothing to complicated which as a tired mom I appreciate. The padding he lays on seemed a bit stiff to me but he seems to enjoy it so that is what matters. It is sturdy, no wobbling, and isn't to high where it feels like I need to physically get out of bed to lay him in or get him out which is always a great thing. I like that it can move with me from room to room and isn't very heavy so as not to be a pain and make me not want to take it along. The sides are of a mesh material so as not to trap heat and I can easily see baby and make sure everything is alright. Overall a nice thing to have especially when traveling or when one doesn't really need or want a big crib to room share. I would recommend this to others.

I received this item from the Spark Reviewer program and was asked to provide an unbiased review. The KidCo DreamPod is a wonderful item for any family with a baby. The DreamPod is a convenient travel crib/bassinet for a baby. However, I have found it very useful in my daily routine. The DreamPod is very convenient to move around the house to keep the baby close as you perform your daily activities. The item only weighs twelve pounds. The DreamPod is super easy to set up, it practically sets itself up. After the initial setup, I can have the entire Pod assembled in close to one minute. There is even a pocket on the crib to hold the instructions for future reference. The Pod comes with a water repellant machine washable fitted cotton sheet, such a nice extra to have provided. The item is rated for baby's up to twenty pounds. The assembled dimensions are 30"(Long)x21"(Wide)x24"(Tall). The DreamPod comes with a convenient travel bag. The disassembled dimensions(in the travel bag) are 33"(Long)x8"(Wide)x8"(Tall)...very reasonable for travel. Again, the total weight is twelve pounds. The most important feature I can relay is the SAFE and STABLE construction of the DreamPod. I find the wide base and large feet to be very stable. The sides and edges are padded and rounded where appropriate. The cushioned pad and sheet are designed to be strapped into place for safety. Overall, I am very pleased with the KidCo DreamPod. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone searching for a well-designed portable crib.

This is just amazing for baby and MOM, DAD and GRANDPARENTS ! So versatile and east to set-up. Light weight so can be moved from room to room easily. Because of feet design, it is very sturdy with no fear of baby tipping or young children leaning down to look at baby. The material is super durable and easily cleaned. The little mattress that comes with it is nice and cushy for true baby bed comfort. Fold to go in car with no problem at all. A must for trips to Grandparents or anyplace that you will be for awhile and baby needs to nap. The color is great for boy or girl, and not blue or pink where you might not be able to use it again for a new baby. Overall, this works so perfectly that you wonder what you would do without it. Love the product!!

Wow what a nice bassinet. With it's sleek apeal and easy set up I had this thing put together within minutes and didn't even need to look at the instructions. The one I had when my son was a baby was very awkward and bulky and didn't even seem sturdy...so I hardly ever used it unless we were traveling. Item comes in 8 peices and everything folds neatly into the bag it comes in. Perfect for bedside co-sleeping, traveling or camping. These are my pros and cons of the KidCo DreamPod.. Pros: Color of item can be used for boy or girl. Easy to understand instructions (I didn't even have to look at them) Packed away neatly into it's drawstring storage bag Velcro is used throughout to attach side flaps and holds firm over support bars. Bottom locks into place for cusion support. Bottom cusion is soft yet safely firm for infants Cusion comes with a "sheet" that is plastic lined for leaks Did not wiggle or seem weak jointed. It is not on wheels and bottom legs have wide "feet" for safety Mesh sides for viewing baby and they wont suffocate if rolled into. Fabric looks to be easy to clean with a little soap and water Cons: If something leaks on the small matress it will be difficult to clean as it is a whole piece and does not come apart. So use the little grey protector over it. Otherwise I saw nothing wrong with product. It does what it states on the box. I wish I had it for my son years ago!
