King Canopy Quadrilateral Sun Shade Sail

We purchased our second sail in May 2011. Our first sail was the color pictured above and survived two years of wind, rain, hail and sun. The newer product lasted only two weeks before tearing near the metal link. It was also a neon yellow color like nylon rope.

This canopy/sun shade is way to yellow. The pictures don't show the color accurately. It could be nice if you would like to hang a bright yellow rain coat colored tarp from the your house. Fabric seems thick it's just not the color we expected. I wish there would have been some accurate swatches online to view before purchasing.

The only problem we had with this sun shade was: When it arrived, there was no hardware included. The description stated that it came with hardware. I called Wal-mart.com and spoke with a lady who, in turn, called the supplier while she put me on hold. Within 3 days the hardware arrived at our house. We have ordered sun shades from Wal-mart.com before and have been pleased. They were very quick to make this time right for us. Will definitely use them again.

Great, just what we needed for our patio...but wish it came in another color...looks to much like a tarp, but it's not and you can tell, after receiving it! It's more like a mesh material...not plastic! My husband said" it's fine, matches our pool lining!! LOL

Granted this isn't a life-changing purchase, but the sail does exactly what I bought it to do. I have a small apartment patio that faces east, and I am blinded by the sun in the mornings. I have a glider, table, grill and other items that make the patio too crowded for a patio umbrella. With just eyehooks and clips, I can set the shade sail up in less than a minute, enjoy breakfast and read the morning newspaper without the blinding glare, and then fold and store the sail away when the sun shifts to the western sky. The quality of the material is as good as I expected, and again, it performs the job I bought it to do.
