I could tell unpacking this how cheap and flimsy the components were but, trying to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt, I completely assembled it. It is too wobbly. Some of the components are not functional from a design point of view. All in all…it looks great but is a terrible design.

First this is very cheap and flimsy. Other cat trees appear much more durable. Second it will likely not last for a super long time. Third my cats adore it. There are 48 dowels, 24 connectors, and other parts. Ability to read a blueprint without words is very helpful to required. The cloth like material begs cats to claw it. They don't mind the flimsiness, instead they enjoy it. Some like it high, some like it low. There are 3 levels plus a top where the scratch pad is. Our entire home of cats was on it within 10 minutes of it being finished. My expectation is this will last longer than 3-4 months but under a year. There are some minor skirmishes over who owns what cubby, so that may reduce life expectancy. Assembly isn't exactly trivial in terms of reading the blueprint, but actual physical assembly if you understand what the blueprint wants is easy. The 48 dowels and 24 connectors are all the same, two spare dowels were included. It took my wife and I about 20 minutes to assemble it, delayed in part by the need to scat some cats away now and then.

The reviews saying it's not for heavy cats had me worried. My little black cat is like a black hole, beautiful and deceptively heavy. I'm shocked her weight doesn't have a gravitational pull. Yet here she is in the picture, in the hanging box just camped out having a good time. Build this the correct way and it will stay together.

decent cat tower for money you will have to constantly reinstall tubes together as they pop out connection and joint all the time cats and kittens love tower just wish it was better quality but for money its about what you cax expect for quality and this price point

This was horrible to put together kept popping out and FINALLY I finished it set it out on sun porch and within an hour the rods were slipping out and within 3 days whole thing just started falling down. Cat won't go near it now and I'm out 35.00 because I threw the box away and can't return it!
