Kobo Aura H2O eReader - waterproof, 6.8" Glare-Free, High-Definition Carta E Ink Touchscreen Display, ComfortLight PRO, Wi-Fi enabled

Been a Kobo customer for a few years now and I enjoy their devices. First one was a Kobo Mini, then Kobo Aura Edition 1. Now I have the H2O and so far I love it. I chose it for the larger screen size (to read manga which seems to work great so far), Overdrive support and because it is waterproof. Plus I got it for 160, so that was nice. I've always liked their devices more than Amazon (too much red tape). Kindle books tend to be a little cheaper but Kobo is fairly competitive and cheaper in certain books.

I am now a convert to e-readers! This Kobo device is lightweight, looks like "paper" (not too harsh on the eyes and doesn't look like a screen), and I can carry around all 7 Harry Potter Books in my handbag. This is perfect for my subway commute, the beach, and a rainy day indoors! I love my paperbacks, but I don't think I could ever go back now that I have access to thousands of novels at the touch of a button. I have recommended this to all of my friends.

I really like this device because its waterproof! I can't believe this eReader is the price it is and has all the same features as an Amazon Kindle but it has the added bonus of being able to read outside near water without worrying about breaking your device. I would 100% suggest this device to anyone that frequents the beach or pool and likes to read while doing so. The screen is super clear and the amount of available books is unreal. *I'm writing this review as a part of a contest, but my opinions are 100% honest and unbiased.

The Kobo Clara is an excellent reader. In terms of hardware, Kobo keeps the Clara simple by removing the need for buttons and keeping all actions to taps and gestures on the screen. The backlight reduces blue light exposure which allows for easy reading at night and causes little to no strain on the eyes. The text is easy to read, and the feedback to the users actions is near-instantaneous and leads to a frustration free experience. I would highly recommend this product for someone looking for an portable e-reader.

The Aura H2O is light and comfortable to hold in hand with a very grippy back. The best part about it is definitely the combination of the back-light and the comfort light pro that makes reading much more comfortable at night. With an excellent selection of books, the H2O is a solid reader for the price.
