Great deal for the price. My husband is a meteorologist and loves it.

very easy to set up the only problem it was advertized as being wirerless but had a 32ft cord that ran from the wind vain to the temp/humidity unit that I had staple back and forth to take up the slack the rest is wireless to the main unit all in all a very good buy

A step up from the basic units available. Wind speed is handy, but wish it included direction. It is however compatable with an earlier model (dead) I had with that sensor and the rain guage, so the earlier one now works and adds the wind direction. Rain gauge works with both. Don't expect it to last more than a year or so, based on previous experience with this line, but for $50, that's not too bad.

i got this weather station so i could monitor how much wind i actually got at my home. I am interested in a wind generator and wanted to know if i have enough wind to make a generator a waste of money or not. this product works well, and is accurate if you read the instructions to see what the weather symbols mean it's predictions are accurate too. i am happy with this and am happy that i decided to buy it.

Incident to helping my 5th grader conceive and create a STEM (science) Fair project, we decided that attempting to calibrate a pendulum-telltale (a ping-pong ball on a string) would be relatively original, and practical. Practical because, in our yard, we were considering installing a wind turbine. And after an abundance of armchair research, we concluded that The Weather Channel anemometer/ weather station was the best-fit product. Moreover, additional research (price shopping) revealed that Walmart had the best price, and site-to-store shipping was an added cost saving benefit. All said and done, we saved $40.
