Lansinoh Laboratories Insurance Covered Smartpump 3.0 Lifestyle Set

I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. I have two toddlers and a newborn. All of my kiddos are breast feed and I have pumped for all of them when I returned to work, so I am very familiar with pumping. I was excited to try this pump, but was extremely disappointed. There are many pros to this pump. The pros of the pump are that it is lightweight and portable so you can get work done while you pump. I would recommend buying a hands free nursing bra so you have your hands free as well. I also like that this comes with all the parts needed to get started. I has three different sized flanges and the instruction manual explains how to measure yourself to ensure the right fit. It is really easy to set up and use immediately. Comes with 4 bottles to pump into which is extremely helpful a reusable ice pack and cooler. The flanges are also extremely comfortable to use and wash easily. The cons of the pump, there is no light on the pump itself so you will need to have a night light near by if you are pumping at night. The pump has multiple suctions levels which is fantastic and it is extremely customizable but unfortunately I barely was able to pump any milk at all. There are many good features of this pump, but it didn't work for me in terms of getting my milk out. Typically I am able to get at least 4-5oz per breast when pumping

This little powerhouse of a pump surprised me! This is my third baby, I've used all kinds of pumps from hospital grade & down, & this is a fantastic option that I'd recommend & bit it. (I received this for testing as part of Stellar Product testing Panel) It's tiny & lightweight, very easily transported - it actually fit into my purse to go to work. It's very customizable - between speed/rhythm & power adjustments I could get exactly what I needed for both let down & feeding. I've used it in the car while traveling & it's amazing how much easier it is to have a small pump than finding enough perch space for a large one. Having multiple flanges ended up being incredibly useful - I learned that I need two sizes depending on when I pumped which has changed my evening pump from painful to no problem. (Again - this is my third kid! I had no idea.)

I have two beautiful boys, and I have been an overproducer with both of them. With my 7-month-old this has also been paired with some feeding issues, so pumping has been key for my comfort and great to build up my stash for when I went back to work. So when I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was happy to have the opportunity to go with a new pump! I like many things about this pump. Firstly, I loved what came in the box; 3 sizes of flanges, an extra set of diaphragms and valves, 4 bottles, and even a nipple for feeding. I am not a first-time pumper, but I think this sets you up well if you are a first-time pumper. After the initial charge of the unit, it meant that I could use this pump wherever I wanted, which is good as I like to be comfortable when I'm pumping and that normally means I am not near an outlet. It was really easy to use and I also liked that it can be connected to the app. I am a little obsessive about tracking things so this comes really in handy especially when I'm in a rush and forget to note the time when I started to pump, the app will track this for me as long as it is connected. It will also store sessions when you are not connected so you can still get the data when you next connect the pump to the app. The different suction styles are a nice touch too. This allows you to try and get as close to your baby's sucking style as possible. I think this helped me to express more effectively. The breast flanges are nice and comfortable and easy to get the correct position of your nipple inside them. Having different sizes to choose from means it's less likely you will need to order extras to get the right fit. The biggest thing that I found to be the downside to this pump was the tubing and the stopper it has if you only want to pump one side at a time. This is a little flimsy and meant that there were a few occasions that I would easily knock this loose leading to a loss of suction. But when using the pump on both sides together the tubing connections on the pump parts were much better and stayed connected very well. This was the biggest reason why I didn't give this pump 5 stars. There are also a lot of parts that are a little tricky to clean but then again this is pretty much the same for most pumps I have seen. As long as you rinse immediately with water it makes cleaning much easier later. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump.

I have tried a few different pumps during my breastfeeding journey and I really really love this one! It is very comfortable to use and it was so helpful that three different flange sizes were included! I was able to charge it in a few hours and it was amazing to be able to have the freedom to pump wherever I wanted! I was able to pump while in the car! The suction is strong and I am able to get just as much, if not more, while the pump is plugged in and if it's not. The parts are easy to clean and assemble, too! This pump rocks! The features of the Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0 make it a pretty awesome pump and I highly recommend it. I am a 3rd time mom and have used other pumps before this one. I am also a working mom, so have always relied on pumping in order to continue my breastfeeding journey with each of my children. Below, you will find my pros and cons. Pros: The pump is rechargeable (no changing batteries!) and can be used cordless (freedom!). The display is REALLY straightforward and user friendly. It includes an automatic timer, which is really helpful to time pumping sessions. With the touch of a button, you can adjust the pumping style and suction level, which I found really helped me express more efficiently. I also liked the flanges- the rubber lining makes them very comfortable. Cons: It felt like there were a lot of parts for each expression set. But, they cleaned easily and went together easily. This con is outweighed by the pros for sure! By far, my favorite features are that the pump is rechargeable and it is very easy to adjust during use.
