My daughters favorite nipples they are great
I made the mistake of buying 5 packs of the Natural Wave 2S "slow flow" nipples to replace my Philips Avent nipples since my LC recommended these which mimic the shape of our nipples for breastfed babies. My 6 week old baby literally chugged 4 oz of milk in 2 minutes which is not normal and this is with feeding by the paced bottle feeding method where the bottlenit tilted at a 90 degree angle to make baby work harder tonsuck the milk out. It usually takes him 15 minutes with the Avent nipples. It's really unfortunate because I like the shape of these nipples so that my baby can continue working on a deep latch but there is no way I can keep using these since it will cause more nipple confusion. I wish I read the reviews for this product before purchasing because its evident that many customers have had the same experience.
After researching looking for a bottle nipple that would help with my breast fed baby these worked exactly as intended. However some false information led me to believe they would fit in my dr.brown wide neck bottles, they did not. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit almost perfectly in the MAM bottles instead though. Enough that they do not leak. 4 stars only due to the fact that the shipping time was weeks. But it was the only place I could find the Lansinoh nipples at a reasonable price since I could not find in store.
My baby was exclusively breastfed for several months. Before going back to work, we tried many different bottles/nipples and had no luck finding one that she would accept. We came across Lansinoh products and this has been the best for her. She was able to go back and forth from breast to bottle with ease!
No more Phillip avent. I switched all to this Lansinoh momma. Love the bottle design. It takes less space in the sterilize machine. Also love the nipple. It encourages tongue movements. I can see his tongue moving from front to back while sucking. But 1 thing I dislike is about the pump. It makes too loud noise.
