Bought this for my 5 year old. It reqires her to read the directions before going to the next step. I wish it read the directions out load when you clicked on them. I even had my 7 yr. old neighbor try it out and she found it very difficult and gave up within a few minutes. I am VERY dissappointed to have spent so much for this terrible ap.

My 4 year old loves it but gets mad a few parts were the numbers don't show up. It will say _ + _ = ? And you are supposed to grab the answer number and put it over the ?. BUT you can't see what 2 numbers you are supposed to be adding. Either a glitch or the dark print and you can't see them. Then if you press the help button or the question button on your LeapsterExplorer it will help you by showing you a hint. My 4 year old (almost 5) will still get frustrated with it and I will have to come help her, but it is fine. I don't mind helping her figure it out. But they really do need to make it a little more user friendly for little kids. My eight year thinks it's ok. But doesn't really like to play it often. But it is still nice to have her at least playing a game and practicing her math, but it is pretty easy for her.

My daughter really got a jump start on her math skills from this game. Her teachers were really impressed that she scored above average on her math tests, even in areas that most other students struggled in.

I bought this game hoping it would help my daughter, who struggles with math. She didn't think it was fun, nor did the siblings, so it is never used. I was hoping for a lot of math fact repetition.
