LeapFrog, My Pal Scout, Plush Puppy, Baby Learning Toy

A personalized puppy that sings your child's favorite songs, talks about their favorite colors and foods, and says your child's name. This puppy is still cuddly, even with the battery pack/voice box. Leapfrog chose music and a voice that I do not find annoying. They had my son's name in their database, which was exciting since he has an unusual name, so he gets to hear the puppy say his name. If their name isn't one of the names that they have audio for, than they will spell it instead, which is nice. My son plays with this for long periods of time and really enjoys having it in the car or in bed at night. It ended up being his favorite and most used toy that he received for his second birthday.

My niece was looking for something similar that she could not find anywhere. ( I had no idea she was looking for something like this). I was shopping for her one year old and I liked this. I shipped out to California and it arrived before Christmas. I left it unwrapped in case she wanted to program it before Christmas. She was soooooo happy with it, she gave it to him before Christmas. He loves it too!

Looked specifically for a puppy by Leap Frog that played sounds and a lullaby like the one my grandson had since he was infant. He easily goes to sleep with the smaller version that is no longer available. When the original puppy was not working any longer, we found this one. The music is almost the same tune, so our grandson likes it as well.

I feel it's a little too soon to be writing a review about scout being we've only had him for 2 weeks but so far we love it! Honestly, my son is six months old and I think right now he could care less about it but we decided to buy it for him now so he could get familiar with it. Overall, everyone I know raves about the scout or violet's so without a doubt in my mind I know this was a buy purchase!

My oldest grandson has a Scout and loves it. My younger grandson started picking Scout up and carrying him around. So it was time to by him his own Scout. They are 2 years apart in age. They both love how Scout says their names and also the songs he plays, all of which can be tailored to each child online. I like that part! I can choose their favorite foods, colors, songs, etc. For the money, this is an awesome toy which also helps them learn in a fun way!
