LEGO - Ideas Home Alone 21330

This is one of the most expensive LEGO sets that I've ever bought. I would have to say that it is worth the money. It has a lot of pieces and is very detailed. I'm a big fan of the original Home Alone. If you enjoy doing legos. Then you will enjoy this set. I don't plan on playing with this set once I'm finished. I'm just going to put it on display.

I bought the Lego Home Alone house back in December 2024 as a treat for myself after wanting it the last few years. At first I was skeptical about having all the required bits after reading the reviews which often mentioned missing bits but that wasn't the case for myself as all bits were there in the set. Building it was an absolute blast and pleasure, I enjoyed having the option to have digital or paper instructions so I opted for the digital ones. This set has plenty of details from the film and offers lots of play elements, the build requires you to build a lot of little details and in true Lego fashion you've got plenty of stickers. (Wouldn't be a Lego set without them) Overall I fully recommend this set to everyone before it retires.

This was a great addition to our Christmas display. We built this with our 9 year old son and 3 year old daughter. There are many great elements from the movie. Our family is still enjoying it. Lego, please consider the Griswold's house as a set to add to this collection!

I loved building the Home Alone set, but there are a few play issues. You can't really access the attic very well as it's got limited space, and you can't access the kitchen and basement (which are offset) without removing that section. It would have been nice to have a side door for the kitchen and basement (like the front of the house) to access for play. One major flaw is that you can't press the button to light up the heater without removing the back part of the house AND removing the kitchen level. If there was a button from the side (like the button to drop the shelves or move the train) it would have been so much better. Upon watching the movie, I also realized the house extends out further on both sides. It would have been fun to have more bedrooms and area to really act out scenes from the movie. Am I a Home Alone superfan? Yes.

My daughters loved this film, bought back so many memories of watching and laughing together. Very enjoyable to build. One piece wrong colour brown sent and two small link pieces damaged. All three have been ordered. Would recommend especially if you love the film. Lots of little touches.
