wow- i would have to say that some of the reviews do not do this product justice! me and my father in law put this baby together in less then 6 hours. All the parts and hardware were included and went together without any problems. I will say do not try to put it together if you do not think you are up to the challenge. You do need to think it through and not just go driling holes without being sure you are correct. Setting out the parts before hand is a must. Went very smooth from there. We cant get my 5 year old off from it and feel bad when we need to tell her to come in for bedtime!

The directions are straight forward, easy assembly. We didn't label the boards, but we sorted them by size and hole location before we started. I agree with a previous reviewer, the order of assembly is pretty subjective. I recommend starting with the main body, then the swing A frame, and then the accessories. The quality is fair, the lumber is scaled down and thinner, hence the price. It is sturdy when complete. Two of us put 5 hours in at a leisurely pace, and I finished the accessories and final set up solo in an additional 2 hours. I did need to get longer anchors as the stakes provided were too short to be useful. Save yourself an extra trip out to the store.

My husband and I bought this swing set for our 4 and 6-year-old boys about a month ago after a year of apartment living. We moved to a house with a yard and the boys have spent every pretty day outside playing on it. The fort area is a little smaller than we thought, but still fine. Our 6-year-old pretends it's his 'tree stand' for hunting - bonus! Also - the swings are a little close, so I would recommend putting the trapeze in the middle. The two little boys from next door come over to play and it's fine for all four of them. Assembly took awhile, but we were in the middle of moving, so not a big surprise...had to do it a little at a time. Do take the time to organize and label all the parts before starting. After looking at several other options, this was definitely the best deal. It's a little hard to find in the stores, but worth looking to save the $150 in shipping you have to pay for the same set in green & yellow. Not sure why this isn't a Site-to-Store item. It says the price varies by store, but it was $400 in the store where I found it - same price as the green and yellow version. A definite deal!

I went to several different stores only to be disappointed in all the prices. Toys R Us is a great store but their wooden swing sets are very expensive. It took my husband with help 13 hours to put this swing set together. It has alot of pieces but the end result is amazing!! My kids are 3 and 7 and love it.

This swing-set is great for a medium to large size yard. We brought it for our three children and they loved it. Their friends came over for a birthday party and they loved it as well. Construction was not the easiest, my friend and I put it together in the rain beause I had to meet a birthday party deadline. It took three evening at about 4 hours per evening after we figured out the parts and wood placements. The wood needed to be labeled before starting the project, (hint: label ALL the wood pieces before you get started, it will save you about 3 hours overall)! All in all, the swing was a hit and it is sturdy, we had about 13 kids playing on it at one time and it did not move at all. We highly recommend it!!!.
