Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox

this turtle is the good old fashioned strong built, one piece top. I'm very happy to have purchased. My Westie loves to ride in the turtle shell. He cannot do so in the newest turtle sandbox design. I am disappointed in walmart deceiving me just to get me to order the product quickly. I had it in my cart. I needed sandbox in 3 days and originally couldn't not do so, after hesitation, I came back to the cart and price dropped and date changed to one I needed. so i purchased. once purchased, in route they changed the date to be longer than the original date. I called to complain and walmart gave me a bogus gift card of $10. disappointed with Wal-Marts service.

We were looking for a great gift for our grand daughter's first birthday. We checked with our son and daughter in law and purchased it on-line. Our grand daughter likes it -- out of the sun in their carport. She especially liked the turtle eyes.

We have an older version of this same sandbox and bought a new one for a birthday gift. Our older one is made of much heaver gauge plastic. This one does have a nice design of the seats, but I don't think they are sturdy enough for an adult. The lid is so light weight, that the wind will easily pick it up and sent it flying into the neighbors yard. I hope it holds up. They will probably have to hold down the lid with something heavy. Our older one is much more sturdily built.

This is a super cute turtle. My 4 year old and 20 month old love to play in this. It was every thing I expected and great price. Every other sand box I looked at was pricy.

It seems fine...we bought one of these in the 80's for our kids, and it was a LOT thicker, bigger, and nicer made, but still a pretty good addition for our granddaughter
