We moved into a place with well water, and the elderly guy that lived here for years before us must have never cleaned the toilet because there were literally YEARS worth of layers of hard water stains in the bowl! I had tried the works, lysol with bleach toilet cleaner, regular bleach, vinigar, all separate of course... I even scrubbed it with a pumice stone, and still nothing came up and off! so nothing worked!! I decided to get this one, and after 2 days of woking on it periodically... It started coming off, little by little! we ended up using a wire brush also, but without the help of this toilet cleaner, without a doubt, we would jave never gltton it completely out! It's clean and bright white now! i was always told the works is the best, but not for the issue we had!! would highly reccomemd!

The best at removing embarrassing rust stains. I also use it for cleaning my shower and sink . Better than any bathroom cleanser. Make sure to wear gloves while cleaning other than toilet. I found it a bit irritating on bare hands. Would highly recommend and will buy again.

I have well water and even with a softener the build up is never ending and increasingly more difficult to get rid of. Limeaway was my go to and even that wasn't always effective. I tried this after reading reviews and it does what it says it will. I have already bought another bottle!

SKIP IT!!! the dang gel refused to squirt out...yes, i followed the instructions. good grief!!! its bowl cleaner, not rocket science! so i dragged my husband into it, bc he's the genius that likes to teach me how to do everything better in life. at least it was entertaining to watch as he grasped the bottle, fiddled with the cap and then applied the maximum pressure humanly possibly while squeezing the bottle, while cursing at this point, until the gel suddenly exploded out with hurricane force onto the wall. idk, maybe i should have watched a youtube video on upside down toilet gel cleaner bottle operation? hmmm.,,did we miss that college course? SKIP IT!!!

This Lysol Lime and Rust Gel is amazing. The plumber left what I thought were permanent scratches all over the porcelain and this product brought everything back to life. I rarely have to scrub the toilet. This stuff is a dream come true. I highly recommended.
