Mainstays 72‘’ Silver Combo Floor Lamp With Reading Lamp, Modern Design

My previous lamp stopped working so I needed to replace it. I'm glad I found this one at a decent price. I like the dual lights as I can choose just the smaller one for less light concentrated into a specific area or use the top one on one of three settings to light up the room. I prefer lamps versus overhead lighting so this is perfect. It was decently easy to put together; I only had an issue with one area but once the threads took hold it went together great. Yes the shades are plastic but they are cleaned easily. The lower light adjusts so that's an added plus. You can't go wrong purchasing this for the price!!

The shades are pictured as white but are an amber orange and were warped when arrived with some white damage spots! Soaked in hot water to reshape. They don't look plastic in the ad and doesn't specify that they are. The base has rub marks from passaging that do not come off. They are ok for the price and do the job it was purchased for. The lamp as a whole is very nice.

The pole light I replaced with this new one looked the same but it was not. The circumference of the pole was much thinner and the replaced bottom stand for the pole was wider and thicker. The low price, convenience of delivery, easy assembly, and this new one fit better in corner space and didn't block the top right corner where my TV was. Overall I like it more than the one I replaced.

For a bedroom where you need light by the bed to read, you can't beat the price. I would want them a little sturdier if possible, when they start to wobble need to tighten the bottom screw and consider a strong glue E6000. Increase the price by $5 and make them a little more sturdy, but they work.

This is the coolest floor lamp; the top lamp (torchiere) features a 3-way bulb, and the lower (adjustable) light is plain. I have Great Value LED bulbs in both sockets. Not only does it look great sitting by my bed, but it was also super easy to assemble. I've had floor lamps in the past, but none were this sturdy.
