item damaged. box was tore open and had holes in it, boards damaged with gouged spots. premade holes are all either not fully open or so poorly done that the finish is damaged around them.

The Mainstays Linen Tower is a basic particleboard shelf. It has an eggshell like white finish that has a slight sheen. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes to put this together with him assembling and I reading directions and handing out the hardware.:). The directions were very straight forward and were relatively easy to follow. This is a lightweight shelf so you will DEFINITELY need to use the wall mount kit to keep the shelf stable and not falling over. I wanted to use this for our homeschool to keep books and supplies in order. I actually think it is too flimsy for that purpose, but putting lightweight towels and bathing essentials would probably be fine. The pull knob is a shiny plastic silver. Feels flimsy. I would probably pick up a better pull knob. I like that it had stickers to cover the unused holes for shelf placement. It gives a more finished look. The door did not fit correctly. It is slightly off as you can see in the picture. It could not be tightened. So, the door is a little saggy and feels loose when opening and closing. Not what I was looking for, so will keep looking.:). For the price, this is a good shelf for something lightweight. Maybe children's toys, etc.....but again, you DEFINITELY need to use the wall mount for stability.

I was very excited to try this linen tower. My husband volunteered to put it together for me. The instructions were helpful. The task took him about a half hour. Be sure to have your vacuum handy to clean up the floor afterwards. There was a lot of stray tiny pieces of styrofoam everywhere. My husband's biggest complaint about building this was that unfortunately he got a number of metal splinters from the hardware, so be aware of that and perhaps use gloves. Once this piece was built and placed where we would be using it, I gave it a cleaning with some Clorox wipes. It cleans very easily. Unfortunately, this linen tower is too small to reasonably hold any of our linens, other than perhaps some washcloths and light bathroom toiletries. But there are plenty of other ways to use this amazing tower. It is the perfect size for leggings if you have a lot of those and need a storage solution. I would definitely recommend this product to friends. And it would be great to see this come in other colors, too. It is a useful piece and a good value. If you need some extra storage, this piece can be very useful.

The Mainstays Linen Tower in white was easy to put together. It took me, an older women, about 1 1/2 hour's to put the linen tower together myself. The instruction's are clear and easy to follow. And the pieces are marked for assembly. While putting it together I did put a few things on the opposite direction; however, they were easy to correct. The shelve's are sturdy, and stay in place - without shifting, when product's are placed on the shelves. We set greenery at the top. The linen tower has an adequate amount of shelf space and is smaller so it does not take up much space.

This item was absolutely perfect for my pantry. I have a small laundry room and I have no cupboards for food items and the prior owner of my home had a wire racking system that was really ugly. This baby was the perfect item to solve that issue and now my laundry room looks less of a mess.
