I wasn't sure about the smell of the egg maker supplement but they sure do love it. I add it daily and I'm almost half way with the bag so overall love how well it lasts. The resealable bag is a big plus. I have noticed a difference and will be adding this to their feed every day.

The portion is 1-2 scoops per chicken, depending on the size. I give my chickens one scoop per chicken a day on top of their regular feed. The bag will last for a while. My chickens seem to like it. I have noticed an increase in egg production.

I added it in with some cracked corn and put it in their free feeder. I usually only have to fill ot once a week, but they liked this so much that they dug everything out in 48hrs! The corn was mostly on the ground but there was none of the Omega supplement left! I haven't found any difference in egg production yet, but the girls are just coming out of a molt so hopefully soon we will get eggs from all 9 girls. As for now though, I can say the girls prefer it over fresh produce even, so it must be delicious!

I was thinking this was to build up the shell, but it's actually to add more nutrients to the hens, and also make healthier eggs! My husband fed it to our hens by hand, but we will also be adding it directly to their feed. I'd recommend this for chicken owners!
