Marathon G4 Convertible Car Seat, Kiwi

we have had this car seat for 4 years and have had no issues with it. my daughter is now 4 and fits perfectly. if you follow some of the other pointless reviews of some people misusing the seat then you will be steered in the wrong direction about this seat. for example, you dont buckle you kid in the seat with a winter jacket, the straps are not supposed to be all the way above the shoulders. anyway, the seat is very easy to install using the latch system but the only down fall for us is removing the seat to put in another car. the latch belts dont easily loosen which in my opinion can be a good thing so you dont have to worry about it loosening on its own. cleaning is very simple. it is one of the easiest to take apart. (i have been dealing with car seats for the last 13 years). i just washed it this last weekend. took me all of 60 seconds to strip it down, belts and all. the longest part was waiting for the washer and dryer.

I love this seat! We have another brand in my husband's car and it doesn't even come close to this one. Installation is an absolute BREEZE and caring for the seat is super easy. We've washed the cover in our machine MULTIPLE times and it still looks perfect. Let me tell you, my kid has gotten sick on this seat, had accidents in it and eaten ice cream, slushies and all else while sitting in it. It has no stains, no smell and it's in great condition. My daughter has been in this seat since her first birthday (rear-facing and now forward) and it has never let us down. We've taken long trips and she has never complained about being uncomfortable. I recommend this seat to every single parent I know. Now if only I could find the seat cover and cup holder we used to have.....

We have two of these and they work great for the twins. Love the velcro on the sides to move straps out of the way. Easy to use with the latch system. Good angle for them to sit up and still see everything around them. Neck/shoulder pads are comfortable, seems comfortable for them to fall asleep in as well.

I have three children whose ages are 19, 13, and 4. Needless to say, I have seen many changes in baby and child "gear" over the years. I saved money when my eldest was born, so I could upgrade the carseat provided by the hospital to a Britax by the time he was ready for a front facing seat. Since then, I've used various boosters, carseats, etc. Without exaggeration, I have probably purchased and used at least 10-12 seats between my family, grandparents, etc. I can say with conviction that this seat is the easiest to clean, install and use. Thank God for the LATCH system! I read one negative review on here, and I am wondering if the writer has ever used a carseat before, or if they read the instruction booklet. NEVER has a carseat been easier to disassemble and reassemble, clean, reinstall, or adjust than this one! My 4 year old has been using it for over two years. He now weighs 34 lbs and will continue to use it until he outgrows it. I have zero issues adjusting for thicker winter clothes, growth spurts, etc. This seat has been through diaper overflows, chocolate milk spills, etc, and after washing, it still looks pristine! As with any equipment that you are entrusting to protect the life of your child, read the manual, keep the manual in a safe place, and make sure granny or hubby know how to use it too.

Last month I switched my son from his Britax carrier to this seat. I love how it fits in the car and we have had to switch it a couple times from vehicle to vehicle and that's been pretty simple. I love how it reclines so baby still gets to take car naps. I also love that with Britax I feel like my little guy is in the safest thing.
