Marketside Tiramisu Cake, 26 oz

Cake was good, not to sweet, very moist and a light coffee taste not to strong. Will definitely buy again.

Needs a lot of work, Hope this can be made more Authenticated. It needs more Coffee,Rum and Lady Fingers. This seems like it has a yellow like cheese. Nothing like the Original Attached are two Pictures. The One I bought from Walmart (The Obvious One) and an Original (Bought from the Area).

I love tiramisu. In fact, I can't count how many different recipes and bakery versions I've tried, so when I bought this Walmart tiramisu I wasn't expecting much. Well I was wrong. Those reviewers saying it's bland are somewhat correct depending on the cake you get. I bought two in a short timeframe and one was soaked in coffee and the other was just dry vanilla cake with very little coffee. I happen to be the type who doesn't like overwhelming, coffee soaked tiramisu so I appreciate the less is more approach. I usually drink a small cup of espresso with it anyway. But for those who want more just add some coffee. Now my dad who moved here from Italy wasn't that impressed by it and gave it 3 stars. All in all, I'm surprised how moist this cake is and I really like the cream.

I LOVED this tiramisu. Then it disappeared for MONTHS from Walmart and I just found it again. Sadly it is NOT the tiramisu of old. NO coffee soaked layers.....they use to be coffee colored and you could taste the coffee....no more. Plain yellow cake layers with cream filling... A tasty vanilla cake but it is NOT tiramisu and NOT the tiramisu from Walmart that I use to love...just bought my last one.

I absolutely LOVE this cake, it is a bit bland I agree, but that's really for the best, its meant to be paired with coffee and its perfect if you absolutely must have extra sugar to drizzle something sweet over it. I'm not actually a fan of coffee (and overly sweet desserts) which is probably why I love this cake so much, unfortunately my Walmart stopped having it on hand! I wonder if there's a way to get the recipe! I miss it!
