Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus Infant Car Seat Base, Black

The overall comfort for my infant seems fine - I like the amount of cushion It offers. But there are several [rather large] issues I have with It for the amount I paid. First, more times than not I will hear the car seat fully click into place AFTER I've already started driving. I always feel confident I've got It locked in only to find out it's not which is scary. Second, most times It takes two hands for me to get the car seat unlocked from the base. It gets stuck way too often. Lastly, I got the pure Cosi fabric - I've only used the car seat for 6 months and the fabric is already ragged and snagged all over. My child is not mobile enough for the car seat to look warn.

While this infant seat is super soft and looks comfy for my baby it's just not wide enough. My baby is an average size 6 month old and is squeezing her shoulders in. Unfortunately, we have to buy another seat now.

The seat is comfy lots of cushion, Seat is uncomfortable for her she looks like she is being squeezed by the chair almost as if she didn't fit. She does fit.

I wanted to love this! I have 2 of the pria 85 max car seats for my toddlers and they have been amazing! This car seat however doesn't seem to be nearly as cushioned.. it squeaks when I carry it from the styrofoam. The canopy does not stay and pops loose. Not nearly as sturdy as I was expecting after loving the other ones we have...

I have loved this car seat for our baby from the time she came home from the hospital at just five pounds and on. It's incredibly supportive and easy to adjust as she grows. The infant insert kept her secure and comfortable, even at her smallest. We've found it easy to install in multiple cars, but it did have to be on a side seat in our SUV, as the support leg was too long for the floor in the middle seat. I love how light the car seat is, and the handle makes it easy to tote around in various positions. We have a car seat ready for the next stage, but I plan to keep our baby in the Mico Max Plus until she reaches the max height & weight.
