MAYTAG MDB6949SDM built in dishwasher

My life with dishwashers was really ordinary and mundane. Put dishes, glasses, flatware, etc. in and wash.This machine is an upscale experience. Clean is an understatement. Everything is "fresh". And, fresh is what the interior is with the total stainless steel environment. No odors and fast drying. You almost want to leave the door open to show off this appliance.Quiet and efficient are the other applicable words. Thanks Maytag.

This the second Maytag dishwasher we've owned the first one we had for 18 years. I love the stainless steel tub. It's easy to keep clean, I also like the food chopper. And quiet, I can start after we go to bed without having to listen to it all night. As far as I'm concerned your just wasting your money if buy any other brand. Maytag knows how to build a Quality dishwasher, it will give the biggest bang for you. And clean, you can't ask for a better job, no washing the dishes before you do the dishes. And don't forget the warranty one of the best on the market. I really can't say enough good things about this Maytag dishwasher. Definitely a winner.

I have owned this for one month. The cycles run long, but I find that using the quick wash without heated dry cleans very well in one hour. If you add the heated dry to the quick wash cycle, it takes another 30 minutes. This model has very nice features. I like the adjustable top rack and the slotted utensil holder. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bottom plate on the front of this dishwasher was not designed to look good and there is no way to cover it. If you can live with that, it appears to be an excellent product.

I love my new dishwasher. It's ultra quiet and takes the toughest stains off of my dishes. The cycle options are nice because I don't always have a heavy or light load every time. Now I can save money by using the correct cycle or just by selecting "AUTO" and letting the machine do the work.

I like the sturdy seeming interior, the sleek easy maintenance exterior, the fact that it was made in the USA and especially that it washes so well and has sufficient capacity with a food disposal. The gasket did partially dislodge the first week. Seems to be OK now. Even guests have noticed that the normal cycle is too long.. Not a plus for busy families who do multiple loads.
