McCormick GRILL MATES Garlic, Herb & Wine Marinade Seasoning Mix, 0.87 oz Packet

I really enjoy grilling and the one thing that helps knock out that charred charcoal flavor is a good marinade. I was really interested in trying Grill Mates® Garlic, Herb & Wine Marinade Mix. I followed the directions. One packet wasn't a whole lot, so it didn't come out all that great on an entire family's worth of meat for dinner. I definitely would recommend more than one packet if you cook a lot at once. That being said, I could taste it but I couldn't really tell what the flavors were. I like to be able to taste the different herbs and sauces that I put on when I grill. Otherwise, it just feels like a waste. So, it's very mild. It might be great for someone, just not my family.

This marinade made our chicken taste great. Initially I was a little hesitant because I think I grill some great tasting chicken. To fulfill my response, I washed the chicken, mixed the marinade and got everything ready. Just the smell of the marinade let me know that the taste was going to be A-OK. Took several whiffs. Threw the chicken in and let it sit. Couldn't wait to fire up the grill. Had the whole block smell great. The taste was just as flavorful as I expected. I will definitely buy it again. I already recommended to a few friends. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

McCormick Grill Mates Garlic, Herb & Wine Marinade Mix transformed 3 huge chicken breasts into a juicy, flavorful meal. I followed the simple instructions (adding oil, water, and vinegar) and marinated frozen breasts in my fridge until they thawed, then sliced them into 1-inch wide strips and roasted them in the oven on a sheet pan, along with the extra marinade. While the chicken was in the oven, I prepared some buttery garlic noodles with mushrooms. The chicken turned out full of juicy flavor. The leftovers disappeared very quickly!

This is a pretty good season packet. We put it on our boneless, skinless chicken breasts and it tasted pretty good. There seemed to be something "missing" from it, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is... which is driving me crazy. All in all it made for a quick and easy dinner.
