Severe Congestion, with Instant Cool Burst Sensation, Caplets 24 caplets Pain Reliever/Nasal Decongestant/Expectorant. Contains 3 Medicines: Acetaminophen - sinus headache, sinus pain. Pseudoephedrine HCl - sinus pressure, nasal & sinus congestion. Guaifenesin - expectorant. Daytime. Non-drowsy. Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains; sinus headache. Temporarily relieves nasal congestion associated with sinusitis. Promotes nasal and/or sinus drainage. Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive. Do not take more than directed (see overdose warning). Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: Take 2 caplets every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 caplets in 24 hours. Children Under 12 Years: Not intended for use in children under 12. Ask your doctor. Store at 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F). Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product; with any other product containing acetaminophen. Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease; diabetes; thyroid disease; cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); high blood pressure; trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland; chronic cough that lasts as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema. When using this product do not exceed recommended dose. Stop use and ask a doctor if new symptoms occur; redness or swelling is present; pain, nasal congestion, or cough gets worse or lasts for more than 7 days; you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless; cough comes back or occurs with rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) could cause serious health problems. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Do not use if carton is opened or if blister unit is broken.
