50 AZ-P Telescope

I bought this for my husband. He put it together quite easily and was able to see things without any issues. He loves it.

Great value for a beginning astronomer/elementary school child. Needed a little super glue in a couple places...minor inconvenience.

Don't waste your money. The tripod is so flimsy that it is nearly impossible to get the thing to stand still. The slightest touch will get the thing rocking back and forth, back and forth. That's if you can aim it at anything. The aiming scope is misaligned and there is no way to adjust it. In fact there is no way to tighten it. It just wobbles. Once you point it at something the act of letting go will move it out of center. Only one of the lenses actually works. This thing is junk.

This is a nice telescope but it's a little hard to put together the instructions isn't easy to understand but I'd recommend the telescope to anyone.

For boys 8 & 9 years old, this was the perfect Birthday gift.
