Medela Double Pumping Kit for Symphony Breast Pump

Ordered this to supplement the gear we got from the hospital. Everything fits and works as expected. We ordered this one because the photo showed the more oval shape "personal fit flex" cups which appear to have a white (silicone?) border. The ones we received had the circular personal fit cups that are just clear plastic. (see additional 2 photos from other Walmart listings for the shields we were looking for). Overall this is ok, we were looking for individual valves, membranes, fittings, and shields. What we got was all that plus extra tubing and two bottles, and what appears to be a manual pump device. Since we got this on sale it wasn't worth returning as the individual parts together would cost about that much anyway.

The set is useable on symphony but it's differ from what was supplied in the hospital. The bottles do not have clear marks on them and do not have marks in mL at all, which makes measuring difficult. The adapters has some redundant part which is where the tubing being connected. I can't figure out why they can't just save some plastics and get rid of the part with the screwing caps that houses and the tubing. also, there are no other sizes available for the breastshileds, so I have to buy another set of shield to fit my nipples, which is again a waste of time, money, and plastics. Wish they coul sell the kit with different breastshiled sizes. Bottom line, if you have to use a symphony pump, th kit is compatible with it, but there is a lot t of room for improvement regarding the kit.
