Media YoYo Speaker System

This little thing is awesome! It really amplifies whatever you choose to hook it up to. I use mine on my laptop for music and the sound quality is great!! It actually increases my volume capabilities by almost 50%, with iPod, even more! I also use it for work to get a louder and clearer volume level when dealing with audible files. For $10, portable, chargeable, and compact.. you just can't beat this tiny rockstar!! Oh, and I'm not sure what the dif is on the PS1-2 vs the PS1-5's. Wouldn't mind knowing if anyone has that info. Thanks!

TRUST ME ON THIS REVIEW..........I HAD THE CHANCE TO EITHER BUY THE MUTANT OR WAIT A DAY OR TWO FOR ONE A FEW DOLLARS MORE, BUT BETTER SOUND......YES, THE SOUND ON THE IHOME SPEAKER IS BETTER......BOTTOM LINE....THOUGH THIS MUTANT IS BETTER THAN ANY INSIDE COMPUTER OR LAPTOP SPEAKER, MAYBE WITH EXCEPTION TO THE IPAD WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND........14 VS 19 DOLLARS....PAY THE EXTRA 5 FOR THE IHOME....I HEARD THAT ONE AT A BUDDIES HOUSE, HEARING THE MUTANT, AND IHOME SOUNDS A LITTLE LOUDER AND HAS MORE BASS......

I was a little concerned about whether a speaker this size would have decent sound. Well, I worry no more! The sound is great, the size is perfect. I listen to my MP3 player on this all day at work, and plug it in at night to recharge. It usually takes less than 30 minutes to recharge, and that's after 8 hrs or so of use. I love the fact that it opens up, and doing so really does add to the sound. I would recommend this product to anyone, I am sooo happy I got it!

The only complaint I have with the speaker is that it could use a little more base. There is a lot of treble to the music. The battery life is very good. I haven't come close to discharging the battery.

If you don't mind having this speaker last only two hours on a charge, then by all means this is for you. Also, the speaker does not sit flat due to the wire underneath. I personally will go back to the Ihome speaker which is similar (Original was stolen) in size and price but will last more than 6 hours on a charge and has a better sound and bass. Stick with what works, you won't be dissapointed with the Ihome.
