Melissa & Doug Vehicles Sound Blocks 6-in-1 Puzzle With Wooden Tray

I have purchased many Melissa and Doug products, and have always been happy with the toys. This toy, however, was a total disappointment. The vehicle sounds from the blocks, once they were correctly positioned, were barely audible. The pictures were poorly secured to the sides of the blocks. The edges were loose, and in many cases the paper was rippled. (Quality control must not have done a good job checking that the product was ready for a toddler to play with). Within two days, two of the vehicle pictures had come off the sides of the blocks.

My kids love the sound blocks, but most of the stickers fell off after a few uses... we used a glue stick to put them back on. Not the good quality of toys that I expect from Melissa and Doug.

The stickers were peeling as soon as it came out of the box, and fell off completely within a couple days of play. Not the quality I would expect from a Melissa and Doug product.

I have two sets of the Farm Animal sound blocks and they've been through the war, but still on the shelves in my daycare. Purchased Vehicle sound blocks and immediately after opening, one of the picture stickers came off. Adhesive was weak. The corner on another side was loose and one of the kids pulled that sticker off as well. Used a glue stick to re-attach the stickers, Plays ok, but just a bit disappointed. Never had any problems before with Melissa & Doug products and I have a good number of them.. Sounds are realistic & volume is decent. Durable toy.

Just open vehicle sound blocks for 2 yr birthday- no sounds!How do they work?
