We purchased this game years ago for our children and it was wonderful. We all loved it and it seemed to last forever. We recently purchased one for our great grandchildren and it was the worst piece of trash I have seen in a long time. The board is a molded piece of plastic with a cardboard layout just setting on top of it (not even glued down). Every time you pop the die, the game pieces fly everywhere. The really sad part is the box proudly states "Made in the USA".

My children played this game in the ‘80s. They loved it, and I still have it. My daughters bought new games to have at their own homes...big disappointments. The game board is flimsy and doesn’t sit flat on the table, the center plastic that is pushed down to move the die is also flimsy and doesn’t pop back every time....Hasbro no longer makes games to last. What a shame. Hasbro and Milton-Bradley were the names to look for when buying games. Not any more.

I bought this for friends' children as Trouble is my kids' favorite board game. I was embarrassed when they opened the box. The game doesn't look anything like the Trouble I bought for my kids years ago. The game is now made so cheaply!!! The playing area is a piece of cardboard loosely fitted over a cheap plastic board. The cardboard keeps slipping out when we pop the dice and the playing pieces go flying. I don't know why they make Trouble so cheaply now but you're better off buying the store brand Trouble. The dice might be a little harder to pop but you'll get a better quality board at a lower price.

I must say this was my favorite game at the young age of 10. I was glad to see they was still selling it when my children was young and now I purchased 4 different trouble games for my grand children and I am still playing trouble. My life time favorite and there's too.

I played this when I was a kid and it taught me to be patient and to take turns. The game came with x2 identicle coloured inserts that you view from above when you insert them from the underside, it's a bit cheap of the creators to do that; why couldn't they install a sealed bottom during manufacturing? Other than that, the game is the old classic and it's fun to play.
