Munchkin Steam Guard Electric Sterilizer

I was using the disposable microwave bags to sterilize the bottles. I was going through them pretty fast and decided to invest in a bottle sterilizer. I bought this not expecting to much, however, its awesome! You can't beat it for the price! It's very spacious and does a great job at sanitizing the bottles, nipples, basically anything related to them, I've even sanitized the paci leash. I recommend this to everyone!

The second time I tried to use this it smelled like it was burning. Melted a bottle, and was black....

I bought this for my daugter after looking at a lot of different sterlizers for bottles this one held the most bottles and sterilized in only 6 minutes...she loves it.

I found this product while browsing Babies R Us online. I had not yet received nor purchased a bottle sterilizer and I decided to check Walmart to see if the price was cheaper. Walmart had this at nearly half the prices of Babies R Us! For $28, it is beyond worth it. It runs the complete sterilization cycle in 6 minutes and I have had no issues with it. It's also very easy to maintain and clean. This is definitely much more easy, safe, and convenient than boiling water! I've gotten more than my money's worth out of this product, I use it at least once, sometimes twice a day. I would definitely buy this again!

I have never used an electric steamer/sterilizer before as i used to sterilize bottles the old fashioned way (boil in a pot then let drip dry). This is easy to use, just add water plug and push button. It steams and sterilizes within minutes. Bottles are steam inside and nipples come out sterilized as well. Note- do not use this as a cleaner, your bottle need to be clean before steaming. I had read a review before buying stating that if let for a while, it would smell. I have not had that issue (have had it for 9 moths now) and use it less regularly now as my baby's feed times are not as often. For cleaning, I steam with a vinegar/water solution (1:10 vinegar water solution-use the water cup that it comes with). I then wipe it clean, then steam it again with regular water, as the vinegar residue still remains. After 2nd wash, I wipe it clean and its ready to use. The 2nd clean also removes the vinegar smell.
