Tastes great! Easy on the tummy. Very palatable supplement for increased protein intake.

The product flavor is "Intense Vanilla" and this is no understatement, it IS intense. The flavor is not horrible, but does kind of taste like a "medical" vanilla flavor, like you would expect a medication flavored vanilla to taste like. Serving/consuming this product VERY cold does make the flavor taste much better. This product is an excellent source of Protein, for an extremely active person or an athlete. If you are neither of these, most of the 40 grams of Protein is simply going to be "removed and flushed" by your kidneys. And, if you have depleted kidney function or certain types of kidney diseases, you should most definitely consult your physician before using this product. Myself, I am currently going through some intense surgical procedures since the discovery of Renal Cell Carcinoma. My kidney functions are just fine, so I may use this product. And it does "appear" to be making a difference in how well, as well as how quickly, that I recover from each of these procedures/surgeries. Again, consult your physician FIRST if you have ANY type of kidney disease or Renal Impairment. I am NOT trying to be hard on this product, just to educate future consumers of this product. Except for those who are EXTREMELY ACTIVE or an ACTIVE ATHLETE, I would strongly recommend saving A LOT of money and switching to the REGULAR Muscle Milk, which is more than enough protein for 99% of the consumer public. Unless of course, you are healthy and enjoy LITERALLY flushing money/Muscle Milk Protein, down your toilet. I have always enjoyed using the Muscle Milk products and have NEVER had a bad experience with any of their products. My sole reason for writing this review is to EDUCATE the public on the PROPER USE of the product, the concerns that should be looked into by a medical professional, as well as my own recommendations for which Muscle Milk products to use under certain circumstances to SAVE MONEY. NOTE : Although Muscle Milk used to advertise its' product as "Milk Free". it DOES contain ingredients Whey and Casein proteins.which are derivatives of milk, which CAN CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION and certain artificial sweeteners which may ADVERSELY AFFECT the bacterial balance in your gut, causing problems which may not be easily identified as an allergic reaction and IS present in Breast Milk and is known to cause some other diseases. If you do a web search of this product you can get further information regarding this, as well as information on a Class-Action law suit in 2013 againt CytoSport, Inc., the manufacturer of Muscle Milk and a settlement worth roughly $5/3 million for its' use of the word "healthy". Prior to the suit Muscle Milk used the words "Healthy Fats", while it contained as much Saturated Fat as Krispy Kreme donuts. I believe that this "creative use of the English language" was NOT intended to put anyone in harms way, but a Marketing agents idea to increase sales. I sincerely hope that this review will be helpful for all.
