Very nice construction and very sturdy. Looks great too ! Price, was excellent.
They look fantastic, fit like a glove, hug the body like they're supposed to, engineered, BUT... While not the hardest aftermarket item I've installed, FAR from the easiest, on a scale from 1-10, going it alone, I'd give this a 7.5-8, they're long, unwieldly, and somewhat heavy, and just fitting a single bolt to hold them in place was a bit of a challenge, but I got it... IF I had a "criticism", it'd be that the lower bolts are very challenging to thread, and even once threaded, there isn't any tool in my box, sans a box end ratchet wrench that will fit into the tightest place I've ever had to tighten a bolt... Just a thought, but perhaps slotting the lower hole so one could pre-install the bolts and give the bar something to rest on while fitting the upper bolts...
I am happy with the looks, and I think they will do the ob protector the rocker panels. There are 4 pairs of bolts holding each rail. The user set are easy to place and torque tot spec. The lower bolts have heavy steel plates on wither side making them very difficult to even to start by hand. I couldn't get my 3/8” ratchet between the plates on either side. Wrenches wouldn't work. Finally I managed to get a specialty ratchet to work but tightening them took forever, one click at a time! Accurate torque was impossible.
The picture on this site actually made me weary since the original ones, that i wanted got discontinued, seemed more tucked against the body. After installation, they are just as tucked as I liked and its nice that they also came with all 4 detachable steps. Overall so far so good in my opinion.
Not all installments are created equal the Chevy Colorado Z71 is a living nightmare the screws and clips don't line up and putting the screws in place is extremely difficult I was upset about the damage to the rail during shipping or maybe before but after several Band-Aids and Neosporin to my fingers, trying to put the screws in place the fingers were secondary they'll heal. I'll just paint the chips and scratches. Good luck.
