I have tried many different products marketed to treat my eczema, including some (Skinflix, for instance) that cost much more. In very truth, nothing compares to Neosporin Eczema Essentials at all. I would plead that this product never be discontinued. It is almost like magic. It actually works.
Like many other reviews have stated, this is a cry to bring back the Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream! I'm 28 years old and have struggled with eczema my entire life, and have used what seems like hundreds of different creams throughout the years. The Anti-Itch cream was by far the best over the counter hydrocortisone cream, comparable to the steroid ones you need a prescription for. I will now have to resort to finding a new go-to treatment because this Daily Eczema Moisturizing Cream just doesn't cut it.
I don't know what caused a great product to be discontinued other than not selling enough. Happens all the time. I haven't found any product to do a great job in releasing the itch and clearing up flare ups. I'll keep looking. But at this rate, I'm pretty sure it won't say Johnson & Johnson. No, I will not call to chat. Chatting will not put the product back on the shelves. Only decreasing the bottom line will. Not all products need a 40% return to be considered worth keeping on the market. Customers only get asked their opinions after the product gets pulled, not before. Disgusted with big business.
I have had severe eczema in the past. For that, only steroid cream would work and I saw a dermatologist for it. I recently have had bad grass allergies. One of the side effects was mild eczema on my eyelids. They've been red, painful, and dry/crusty consistently. I've tried every lotion and all of them only make it burn. I even tried the steroid cream and it made it burn. I then googled different solutions and came across this --- bought, tried it, and it's made a difference immediately. Soft eyed my skin, did not burn, and is no longer dry. Says it will work in 3 days, but it started working immediately. I highly recommend for mild to moderate eczema.
This cream is honestly amazing! I started getting eczema in my late twenties on my face and arms and nothing would really help flare ups. I have gotten numerous perscription creams but this is by far the best thing I have used. I was skeptical since it was so basic, but maybe that's what my skin needs. Not the fancy steroid creams. Please don't stop making this cream!!! I have used it for a week and my skin is not dry or flaky for the first time in a long time. Plus it's not greasy so I can't put it on anytime or anyplace!
