What Walmart shipped to me was fake lozenge, the kind that is sold as a generic but with Nicorette label stuck on the product. These generic are available for half the price and taste poorly.
I thought I was sold a counterfeit product but it seems they've actually changed the product. Now these are identical to the cheaper store brands. Compared to the old, these have a different texture, taste, consistency. No reason to pay a premium for these. I'm really disappointed.
Why selling the product that has such a disgusting taste and after taste. Go back to what it was NLS2 and don't fool your customers. This is embarrassing for a company. When quitting smoking gives you nausea for the bad chalkie taste of your 'new' product I ask myself: which is better? quit or continue smoking.
The formula for nicorette mint lozenges has changed and now equals generic brands which are substandard at best. No explanation to consumers who have come to expect and pay for a superior taste and quality from nicorette. Consumers are now expected to pay nicorette prices for a generic substitution
Don't waste your money on the name brand - now it's the same gross taste as the generic. The ones that taste good indicate both Switzerland and New Jersey on the package. The new ones only say New Jersey and they taste bad, just like the generic brand.
