[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool concept! I love how my daughter (1) gets to practice drinking from an open cup without the large amount / “gulp” coming at her. She's seen us drink from regular cups so she instantly / instinctively took to this cup. We tried the second “level” but she wasn't quite ready for it but I'm sure she'll get there and I love that it's there when she is ready. Thank you so much to the stellar panel for providing me this cup to test.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cup is well-designed to meet the needs of a kid who is transitioning from a sippy cup to a regular glass. The cup has various drinking settings and spill proof protection which is good. The main issue that parents will face with this cup is cleaning. The rotating system that controls the flow has areas that can't be reached, so if you decide to use the cup for anything other than water, it is likely to create cleaning problems. You can throw it in a dishwasher, but over time the accumulation is likely in unreachable parts of the cup that I would not like as a parent. I got this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I'll not buy this product also because it is only useful for a very small period and even during that period, I am not going to search for these cups every time my girl needs to drink. Other than that, it is a good idea for those who really want to eliminate the fun (or pain!) of spills from the life of kids.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sippy cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review! My 22 month old daughter has just started using this sippy to get her training on drinking from an open cup. We have been using this cup daily for breakfast and dinner for the past 2 weeks. My daughter is still using the 'first level' flow, but she seems comfortable with it, so I think we will be at this 'level' for a while. I think this cup is uniquely designed, but with a few minor flaws. I love that it offers 3 adjustable flows, however, I do think the flow levels could be better indicated on the cup. For example, putting numbers 1, 2, and 3 could signify levels 1, 2, and 3. I was having a hard time telling which spout level I was on, and sometimes I still have to squint when assembling the cup to the proper flow. I love that there is a lock mode for the cup, but do think it is very hard to twist the top to the lock mode and then back to the open flow mode. It is a minor issue for us since we hardly use the lock mode. Cleaning the cup is super easy, and it is effortless to assemble it back together. Overall, my daughter has enjoyed using this cup, and we will continue to use it until she is comfortable using an open cup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing bc me with this sippy cup. Will start off that we are 8.5 months and the packaging did list 9+ months, but given we are in the trial stage of starting water and using cups we tried this cup out. First was bit disappointed that it does not display any type of markers to measure ounces of liquid. At these early stages it is very important to know that so I had to measure prior to putting water in cup (which is an inconvenience). Next it is difficult to get any liquid out when sitting in a height chair as it does require you to tip head back or cup significantly so not ideal for teaching in a proper eating setting. Just testing it out with the different flows over the sink, I could see it being helpful, but for a much older baby (perhaps over 1 year), but not ideal for average 9 month old indicated on the package. For the positives, it is easy to wash and fill and when ‘closed' it did not spill any liquid. We will try again with this product as we get a bit older.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are using the Nuk sip trainer cup to help our 2 1/2 year old daughter transition to open mouth cups. I love this cup. The adjustable flow feature makes all the difference, because it allows the cup to function just like an open mouth cup, but with WAY less spillage. I mean she's still learning so there are spills, but they're so much smaller and easier to manage than fully open cups. Also you can lock the top and it works surprisingly well, no liquid spills out on that setting so it's easy to grab and go. Easy cleaning is very important to me, and the cup is dishwasher safe so that's a win. It's also really easy to take the lid apart for cleaning. I received this cup as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel at no cost, and I'm glad I did.
