[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Watergaurd Acorn Brown on my privacy fence. It was very easy to apply and covered very well. It went on smooth and was not blotchy or runny. It gave a nice even color that should last for years. Even have some left to do some touch ups if needed.

We used this on a wood ramp that we have for our barn, it's been there about a year so it's seen it's share of Midwest weather. We power washed it, lightly sanded it, blew it off then it was ready for stain! For the most part, we used a roller and for the cracks and sides we used a brush. The stain was so easy to apply, there where no streaks or dark spots when applying which surprised me. Everything went on evenly and then dried quickly after we were all done. The stain starts darker (or deeper looking) when starting and once it dries the wood really soaks it up and shows it's true tone. The best part was that it didn't take much to stain it and only takes one coat to completely cover it, so once it was coated you are done! We will be using this again to stain our deck on our house once the weather is warm again.

I am not a professional so I was sceptical about completing this project successfully. But, believe me, it was easier than I thought. Before application, I needed to sand some area that was uneven. Application was easy and results were impressive. Since my deck is quite old so wood grains are not very visible but stil,l it looks much better and well protected now.

We love spending time out on the deck, so it's important to us to care for it because we want it to last. Applying it was easy and the results were nice! It's semi-transparent, so you still get the nice grains of the wood to show through while protecting it.
